At Juega & Aprende, we offer play-based, child-led fun and engaging Spanish Immersion classes, where we can all play and learn together. We believe in the power of play and our mission is to foster a love of nature, play and learning!
Our Spanish Immersion Classes
At Juega & Aprende, we specialize in Spanish Immersion classes for children ages 2-7. Learning a new language will be fun and engaging. Our classes are held outdoor, and your child(dren) will have the opportunity to engage with other in a multi-age setting while building community and creating friednships.
Meet Our Leader
We are passionate about teaching Spanish to children. Our leader believes in play-based and child-led approaches to teaching, and we are committed to creating a fun and engaging learning experience. Our philosophy for outdoor teaching is influenced by Immersion Language Learning, Waldorf Pedagogy and Reggio Emilia Philosophy.
Elsa Torres
Founder and Leader
Elsa is the founder of Juega & Aprende, a bilingual wife and mother of a 3 and 1 year-old. She has a Master's of Marriage and Family Therapy and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. Elsa has experience working with children in small group settings for over 3 years and, has experience working with children and their families in the social services sector for over 12 years. She speaks Spanish and English fluently and believes that learning a new language should be a fun and engaging experience. During her free time, Elsa enjoys family time, learning alongside her children, dancing, skating and playing with monster trucks.
